Job summary

Want More is seeking an experienced Caregiver to join our team in El-Ain, UAE. The role focuses on providing compassionate care to elderly patients with physical or mental disabilities, including companionship and daily support.

Responsibilities include assisting with meals, hygiene, safety, and medication documentation, while following doctor’s instructions. Fluency in English is required for communication with patients and team members.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Caregiver or similar role.
• Knowledge of basic First Aid procedures and emergency response protocol.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a caring attitude towards elderly people.
• Ability to read, write, understand, speak, and follow simple instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support to elderly patients.
• Assist in daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, dressing, etc.
• Observe patient behavior and report any changes or needs to the senior care manager.
• Monitor patient safety and ensure a safe environment is maintained at all times.
• Develop individualized plans of care according to doctor's instructions.
• Administer medications as needed and document medication administration accurately.
• Participate in recreational activities with patients.
