Aspora is seeking a Community, Brand & Partnerships Lead in Dubai to enhance its engagement with the Indian diaspora. This role focuses on community initiatives, brand visibility, and partnership growth, requiring experience in community roles and strong local network connections. Aspora is building a Financial Services platform for immigrants around the world. We are backed by influential venture capitalists like Sequoia Capital, Greylock Partners, Hummingbird Ventures, Y Combinator, & Global Founders Capital, and are on a mission to simplify global banking as easily as booking an Uber.
We’re first taking on the Indian diaspora - the largest and wealthiest immigrant population. 18 million Non-Resident Indians hold over $1.5T in wealth of which $500B is back in India. They remit $125B back every year and account for 25% of all real estate purchases in India. Yet, the banking experiences of these NRIs are archaic. We’re building a new age platform to service these NRIs with cross border money movement.

At Aspora, we’re reimagining banking for the global Indian diaspora. As our Community, Brand & Partnerships Lead, you’ll be the driving force behind how we show up in the UAE — leading community engagement, building brand visibility, and forging high-leverage partnerships that fuel growth.
This role is a blend of hustle and strategy. You’ll be Aspora’s face across key Indian diaspora events, associations, and communities. You’ll craft grassroots campaigns, activate local influencers, and run high-impact initiatives that drive adoption and trust.
Location: Dubai || In Office

Activate Aspora at cultural events, fairs, and diaspora gatherings
Build deep partnerships with Indian orgs, student bodies, influencers
Lead local growth campaigns and on-ground brand ambassador teams
Drive user acquisition through community-led programs
Share local insights with central teams to shape product and messaging
3+ years of experience in community, partnerships, or brand roles—ideally in fintech, payments, or diaspora-first businesses
Deep networks within Indian diaspora circles in the UAE—especially among students, professionals, and associations
Comfortable leading field activations while thinking strategically
Great at building trust and managing multiple stakeholders
Strong communicator, creative thinker, and metrics-driven operator
Bonus: Familiarity with Indian languages (Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Gujarati)
