Job summary

KBR, Inc. seeks a Commissioning Superintendent I&C with onshore site experience in MEGA EPC projects, based in Abu Dhabi for a PMC project.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and 18+ years in commissioning/operation readiness, including 5+ years in similar Oil & Gas or Petrochemical roles with sour gas/Hydrogen/desulfurization exposure. Responsibilities include coordinating with licensors/vendors, reviewing commissioning procedures, and ensuring readiness for MC/RFSU certificates

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required.
• 18+ years in commissioning/operation readiness, GCC preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in a similar Oil & Gas or Petrochemical role, sour gas hydrogen / desulfurization experience preferred.
• Coordination with Licensors and Vendors on commissioning activities.
• Review pre-commissioning/commissioning procedures and MC/RFSU readiness.
• Support Sr. Commissioning Manager and review EPC/vendor manuals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee commissioning activities for sales gas and condensate areas.
• Monitor punch lists, ensure handover per contractual requirements.
• Participate in commissioning meetings and troubleshooting to remove obstacles.
• Verify readiness of systems/subsystems for MC and RFSU certificates.
• Provide advice to enable timely completion and handover.

KBR is looking for a Commissioning Superintendent I&C with Onshore Site experience in MEGA EPC projects to be based in Abu Dhabi for PMC project.

Experience required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is a MUST.
• Having a minimum of 18 years of relevant experience in the commissioning / operation readiness position with experience in GCC region as preference.
• Must have at least (5 ) years of experience in a similar position in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects with preference of commissioning sour gas ,Hydrogen production, Hydro-

desulfurization projects.

• Coordinate with Licensors and Vendors to ensure close monitoring of commissioning

activities are within Licensors and Vendors guiding procedures.

• Responsible for the progress of commissioning activities of sales gas and Condensate area.

• Review pre-commissioning and commissioning Procedures.
• Provide the required advice and support for Sr. Commissioning Manager a.
• Review commissioning manuals issued by EPC Contractor or Vendors.
• Verify mechanical completion certificates requirements for various systems and

subsystems.

• Participate in commissioning meetings and other related meetings.
• Participate in troubleshooting analysis to resolve commissioning obstacles.
• Verify the readiness of systems/subsystems for MC and RFSU certificates issuance.
• Monitor and approve the close out of punch lists in his area.
• To ensure completion and handover methodology is proceeding in compliance with related
• contractual documents.
