Job summary

KBR is seeking a Commissioning Superintendent I&C to lead onshore commissioning activities for a mega EPC project in Abu Dhabi. The role requires extensive GCC experience in commissioning, with emphasis on I&C interfaces and handover readiness for MC/RFSU.

Based in Abu Dhabi, the ideal candidate has 18+ years in commissioning/operation readiness within Oil & Gas or Petrochemical sectors, including sour gas or hydrogen projects, and will coordinate with Licensors and EPC/Vendors to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is a MUST.
• Minimum of 18 years of relevant commissioning/operation readiness experience in GCC is preferred.
• At least 5 years in a similar Oil & Gas or Petrochemical commissioning role; sour gas, hydrogen or hydro-desulfurization experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with licensors and vendors to monitor commissioning activities per procedures.
• Manage progress of commissioning for sales gas and condensate areas.
• Review pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures and manuals.
• Provide advice and support to Sr. Commissioning Manager and verify readiness for MC/RFSU.
• Review commissioning records and close out punch lists within area of responsibility.

KBR is looking for a Commissioning Superintendent I&C with Onshore Site experience in MEGA EPC projects to be based in Abu Dhabi for PMC project.

Experience required: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is a MUST. Having a minimum of 18 years of relevant experience in the commissioning / operation readiness position with experience in GCC region as preference. Must have at least (5 ) years of experience in a similar position in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects with preference of commissioning sour gas ,Hydrogen production, Hydro- desulfurization projects.

• Coordinate with Licensors and Vendors to ensure close monitoring of commissioning activities are within Licensors and Vendors guiding procedures.
• Responsible for the progress of commissioning activities of sales gas and Condensate area.
• Review pre-commissioning and commissioning Procedures.
• Provide the required advice and support for Sr. Commissioning Manager a.
• Review commissioning manuals issued by EPC Contractor or Vendors.
• Verify mechanical completion certificates requirements for various systems and subsystems.
• Participate in commissioning meetings and other related meetings.
• Participate in troubleshooting analysis to resolve commissioning obstacles.
• Verify the readiness of systems/subsystems for MC and RFSU certificates issuance.
• Monitor and approve the close out of punch lists in his area.
• To ensure completion and handover methodology is proceeding in compliance with related contractual documents.
