We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Fairmont Fujairah Beach Resort as our new Commis I - Main Kitchen:

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in food preparation activities including washing, peeling, chopping and portioning ingredients
  • Follow recipes and cooking instructions accurately under the guidance of senior chefs
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, kitchen equipment and utensils
  • Assist in the implementation of food safety and hygiene standards including HACCP guidelines
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food service operations
  • Support in the preparation of mise en place for various stations in the kitchen
  • Assist in plating and presentation of dishes according to established standards
  • Participate in regular team meetings and briefings
  • Contribute to maintaining proper inventory levels and minimizing food waste
  • Adapt to changes in menu items and cooking techniques as required by the culinary team
