Job summary

A hospitality company in Abu Dhabi is looking for a dedicated Kitchen Commis to join their team immediately. The ideal candidate will assist in daily food preparation, maintain high kitchen cleanliness standards, and support chefs with various tasks. Basic kitchen knowledge and strong skills in mise en place, frying, and sanitation are essential. Salary ranges between AED 2,000 and AED 2,500 based on experience. We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Commis to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate should have strong basic kitchen skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a passion for food preparation and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in daily food preparation and production across different stations
  • Perform proper mise en place for all assigned sections
  • Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene at all times
  • Prepare and handle fried items, ensuring consistency and quality
  • Assist in making salads, sandwiches, and basic sauces
  • Follow food safety guidelines and kitchen SOPs
  • Support chefs with any additional tasks as required
  • Ensure all equipment and tools are properly cleaned and stored
