Job summary

Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort is seeking a motivated Commis 1 - Pastry to assist in the preparation and service of pastries in a luxury hotel kitchen. You will prepare mis-en-place for outlets, maintain high standards of food hygiene and contribute to daily pastry offering.

Ideal candidates possess basic decorating skills, knowledge of HACCP, and the ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment while supporting the pastry team during events and banquets.

Qualifications

• Basic cake decorating, piping, glazing and dessert plating skills.
• Knowledge of baking techniques and pastry equipment operation.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and sanitation (HACCP).
• Understanding of food storage, stock rotation and waste control.
