The Role

Commercial Manager - Civil Engineering Main Contractor

  • 50-70,000 AED Per Month depending upon experience
  • Business hold their own Plant , Machinery & Manpower
  • Reporting into a Western Expat Manager
  • 5 Day working week . Based 22 Minutes Drive from Dubai Marina Are you a Western Educated Commercial Manager with a wealth of experience handling Infrastructure & Marine Projects. Our client is seeking someone that ideally has RTA exposure on Bridges, Highways & Utilities. There core work is spread across Developers and Government Entities so work ranges from 200 Million AED to 1.2 Billion.

  • Guide, manage and mentor a team of Commercial Managers & Quantity Surveyors of all nationalities & levels
  • Add input at pre & post contract stages
  • Liaise with external suppliers, sub-contractors and end clients for contract terms, agreements and EOT's
  • Present monthly and quarterly figures to the management team
  • Be the voice of reason and work with Project Directors & Project Managers when needed.

Requirements

Criteria

  • Degree Educated - Quantity Surveying
  • MRICS desired but not essential
  • 12 Years Post Graduate experience
  • Clear experience handling FIDIC contracts in the Middle East Region
  • 85% of working career must have been working for Civil Engineering Main Contractors
  • It will be evident from the communication with NSR Associates & the CV that you match the criteria. Personal skills and an eye for detail are 100% CRITICAL in this post so no excuses thank you
  • Clear experience to claims preparation and contractual engagement. Can you lead and influence the strategy on site or with the client ? Salary :
  • 70,000 AED All in Per Month for exceptional candidates matching all the criteria
  • Family Flights, Medical & Visas
  • Annual Bonus related to performance - range from 1 to 3 Months Salary
  • 5 Day working week in HQ but there will be days and times where long days and overtime are needed
