Qualifications

• 36 years of experience in a legal/commercial contracts role is required.
• Prior experience in gas, energy, utilities or construction sectors preferred.
• Proven ability in drafting and negotiating technical and commercial contracts.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of contracts including supply agreements.
• Provide legal support on corporate governance and regulatory compliance.
• Identify legal and commercial risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Support dispute resolution and arbitration processes.
• Maintain a centralized legal contracts database and reporting system.

Skills

Knowledge of UAE contract law

Excellent drafting and negotiation skills

Strong analytical thinking

Strong communication abilities

Proficient in MS Office

Fluency in English

Knowledge of FIDIC

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB)

Master’s Degree or Legal Certification (e.g., LPC Bar)
