JOB TITLE
Collections, Senior Administrator | MAF Properties | Asset Management Business Unit

ROLE SUMMARY
The Senior Collections Administrator is responsible for managing overdue revenue collection for assigned assets, including follow-ups, problem-solving, and collaborating with mall management and finance teams to achieve targeted collection rates. The role ensures the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of collection transactions, adhering to company policies and maintaining accurate records in the accounting system at Majid Al Futtaim Properties.

ROLE PROFILE

Business Insights & Support: Ensure efficient coordination and timely support to leasing/mall management/finance on collection matters according to business requirements.

Business Insights & Support: Prepare periodic updates on collections and delays to provide it to decision makers.

Financial Control & Stewardship:Constantly reconcile and analyze tenant or client accounts for outstanding amounts and identify in case of any dispute.

Financial Control & Stewardship: Minimize high risk outstanding and achieve KPIs related to collections as set by senior management

Financial Reporting and Transaction Processing: Validate and record day to day collections ensuring: Adequacy of supporting documents and Proper authorizations are in place.

Assist in preparing ad-hoc analysis, financial reporting, and other various tasks related to areas of responsibility.

Compliance :Ensure that collections and follow up with debtors is in compliance with International financial Reporting Standards and local regulations as well as MAFP applicable financial policies and procedures and Tax Laws regulations

Developing Talent & People : Ensure obtaining updated knowledge in connection with accounts receivable and business know how and Ensure achievement and compliance with targeted KPIs for the Collections team.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or finance.

Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in Debt Collections.

Proactive, detail-oriented, and self-motivated team player with a strong sense of initiative.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Demonstrates a high degree of efficiency, professionalism, and integrity in all tasks.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and expertise in utilizing business solutions software.
