EDGE is seeking a CNC Machine Operator for its Operations Machining team based in Abu Dhabi. You will set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines to produce precision components per drawings, adhering to quality standards and safety protocols.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, using measuring tools, and ensuring in-process quality. Experience with 3-5 axis machines, CAD/CAM, and a strong safety mindset will help you succeed in this dynamic aerospace/defence manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, Trade Certificate, or equivalent.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring instruments.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload materials and conduct machine changeovers.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and cleaning.
• Complete production and quality records accurately.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and 5S requirements.
• Support continuous improvement and minimize machine downtime.

ABOUT THE ROLE

At EPI, we are seeking a CNC Machine Operator to join our Operations Machining team. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to manufacture precision components in accordance with engineering drawings, customer requirements, and quality standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up and operate CNC milling and turning machines.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Perform in-process measurements and visual inspections.
• Load/unload materials and conduct machine changeovers.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and cleaning.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma, Trade Certificate, or equivalent.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 3 years of CNC machining experience.
• Experience operating 3, 4, or 5-axis CNC machines.
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM and CNC programming.
• Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or engineering environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
