Job summary

AccorHotels in Dubai is seeking a Cluster Assistant Director of Finance to support the Cluster Director of Finance in administering all financial aspects of hotel operations. The role requires oversight of budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to owners and corporate offices in line with policy.

You will supervise accounting staff, verify journal entries, manage cash flow and participate in staff development to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely financial communications across the cluster

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master degree in Accounting & Finance.
• Thorough knowledge of budgeting and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Cluster Director of Finance in preparing annual budget and rolling FF&E forecasts.
• Provide accurate financial and management reports to hotel management, corporate office and owners.
• Analyze financial data and present meaningful variations for decision making.
• Ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures and supervise accounting staff.
• Verify accruals, journal entries and reconciliations in line with corporate formats and GAAP.
• Develop staff training and supervise recruitment, development and performance of accounting staff.
