Job summary

Buyers Edge Platform in Dubai, UAE, is seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to modernize our CI/CD pipelines, build scalable infrastructure as code, and containerize deployments across development environments.

You will manage AWS workloads, Kubernetes/EKS, and monitoring tools, while enabling self-service tooling and secure access controls for development teams.

This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced foodservice tech platform, offering training opportunities and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in CS/IS/Engineering/Info Security.
• 2 years in a DevOps role.
• 3 years in Software Engineering.
• 2 years with AWS.
• Production Kubernetes/EKS experience.
• Scripting in Bash, Python, or Go.
• Familiar with CircleCI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab.
• Ansible/Puppet/Chef configuration management.
• Terraform or CloudFormation orchestration.
• Git version control experience.
• Monitoring/APM/logging/infrastructure experience.
• MySQL, Aurora, and Redshift experience.

Responsibilities

• Support and improve CI/CD pipeline tools for various software products
• Develop infrastructure as code to deploy development environments
• Containerize applications to improve deployments and resilience
• Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
• Ensure infrastructure scales dynamically and recovers from disaster scenarios
• Develop internal tooling to improve operational efficiency and self-service solutions
• Manage development resources and access controls
• Respond to service issues and requests in a timely manner
