Job summary

Compass Associates are recruiting a Clinical Psychologist for a brand-new mental health and wellbeing service in the UAE. The role focuses on robust assessment, formulation and evidence-based interventions within a multidisciplinary residential setting.

The successful candidate will join a world-class team, deliver CBT/DBT therapies, work on service development and ensure high standards of patient care in Abu Dhabi/Dubai.

Qualifications

• HCPC Registered Clinical Psychologist with a BSc/MSc and/or relevant postgraduate qualification.
• Must meet UAE DOH Professional Qualification Requirements (PQR).
• Ideally 2 years post-qualification experience in mental health settings.
• Arabic speaking is essential.
• Experience delivering CBT/DBT therapies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive psychological assessment, formulation and intervention across the service.
• Assess and support individuals with a range of mental health difficulties.
• Develop individualised psychological treatment and wellbeing plans.
• Deliver CBT and/or DBT interventions.
• Provide individual and group interventions where required.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary assessment, treatment planning and case reviews.
• Support psychological risk assessment and management.
• Monitor and evaluate clinical outcomes and patient progress.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians and nurses within the MDT.
• Contribute to development of psychological pathways and services.
