Job summary

PureHealth seeks a skilled Clinical Psychologist to provide assessment, therapy, and support across a range of mental health conditions in Abu Dhabi, UAE. You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other professionals to deliver patient-centered care.

The role requires a Master’s degree or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, valid UAE DOH license, and clinical experience in a mental health setting. Arabic language skills are preferred to effectively engage patients.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Valid license/registration as a Clinical Psychologist in the UAE (DOH).
• Clinical experience (preferably in a Mental Health hospital).
• Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and therapeutic interventions.
• Fluency in Arabic is preferred due to patient group.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and therapy sessions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
• Provide evidence-based interventions such as CBT, psychodynamic therapy, or other appropriate modalities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
• Offer crisis intervention and support for patients experiencing acute psychological distress.
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date patient records.
• Participate in case discussions, supervision, and continuous professional development.
• Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, coping strategies, and available support systems.
