DESCRIPTION:
Essential Job Functions and Accountabilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance SDG business growth in vital Middle East and Africa markets, with an emphasis on PCT (85%) and PNS and Kryptor Assays (15%).
- Cultivate and strengthen business relationships with PCT license partners and SDG Channel partners distributors in Middle East and Africa, devising specific customer acquisition strategies.
- Drive Licensed partners and Channel partners enablement through continuous training and onboarding to company provided tools and collaterals.
- Lead and organize educational and promotional events, such as congresses, workshops, and roadshows, to elevate product awareness and adoption.
- Engage consistently with principal stakeholders, including healthcare professionals and hospital administrators including but not limited to Medical Societies, Key opinion leaders and clinicians, ensuring a significant portion of time with minimum 50% is spent in the field/travel.
- Collaborate with the Commercial and Marketing Management teams to create marketing strategies and set Annual Operating Plan (AOP) targets to foster market growth in Middle East and Africa.
- Drive revenue enhancement and market share growth, translating strategic initiatives into profitable outcomes.
- Keep abreast of and report on local market dynamics, competitive intelligence, and regulatory changes to inform and shape strategic directions.
- Serve occasionally as a regional Biomarker expert to assist in customer acquisition initiatives.
- Clinical promotion support of other SDG products occasionally and engage with multidivisional projects.
Reporting and CRM Utilization
- Reporting and CRM Utilization:
- Produce a monthly report of key account activities, including factors affecting sales and competitor activities.
- Use a CRM system as the primary reporting tool; record all activities and opportunities.
Confidentiality and Policy Adherence
- Maintain confidentiality of company, customer, and product information.
- Implement all company policies and be a role model for the company's 4i’s.
Process Improvement
- Use PPI tools and methods to improve business processes.
- Work with customers on their process improvements as necessary.
Strategic Planning
- Develop the regional strategic plan (STRAP) in collaboration with Middle East and Africa team and international team.
Market Analysis
- Record, understand, and analyze market segments, customer segments, product portfolio, competitors, and regional and customer needs.
Value Proposition Development
- Create value propositions to effectively drive solution adoption by end users, aligned with the STRAP.
Best Practices and Strategies
- Share best practices, effective regional strategies, and high ROI campaign approaches.
Business Reviews
- Participate in business reviews, monitor competitive dynamics, and assist in portfolio performance reviews.
Marketing Collaboration
- Collaborate with regional and local Marketing teams to disseminate core strengths and product positioning and develop marketing campaigns.
Education or equivalence of experience, Type and years of work experience and Additional certifications
- Bachelor of Science Honors Degree in Medical technology or Pharma.
- Professional background in clinical or commercial settings, ideally within medical field.
- Demonstrated experience in commercial and marketing roles, particularly in diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, or medical product sectors.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in clinical promotion or similar role.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building capabilities, enabling the establishment of trust and collaborative partnerships with clients, distributors, and team members.
- Highly self-motivated with a proactive approach to initiating and executing actions.
- Strong organizational, negotiation, and influencing abilities to effectively engage and persuade stakeholders.
- Acute business acumen, proven by a history of fostering relationships that contribute to business expansion and success.
- Proficiency in English, additional languages are plus to effectively communicate and operate within the Middle East and Africa context.
