Job summary

ENGIE COFELY ENERGY SERVICES LLC is seeking a dedicated cleaning staff member in Abu Dhabi to maintain clean and orderly buildings. You will perform heavy cleaning duties, maintain sanitary conditions, and notify management about repairs and safety concerns.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team to support event setups and facility management in a demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming them.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Service, clean and supply restrooms.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Monitor building security and safety by performing tasks such as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use.
• Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
• Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Set up, arrange and remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders and scaffolding for events such as banquets and meetings.
• Spray insecticides and fumigants to prevent infestations.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Clean windows, glass partitions and mirrors using cleaners and tools.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines and equipment.
• Prepare cleaning solutions as specified.
• Steam-clean or shampoo carpets.
