Role Overview

Orbit ISS is seeking an experienced Civil Site Superintendent to lead the safe, timely and cost‑effective execution of all civil construction activities for onshore oil and gas projects. The incumbent will ensure full compliance with HSE, quality and project requirements while directing site teams, coordinating subcontractors and liaising with engineering disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and enforce HSE standards, promoting a strong safety culture across civil works.
• Manage execution of earthworks, concrete, underground and structural activities.
• Ensure “first‑time‑right” quality through approved method statements and ITPs.
• Contribute to construction planning, scheduling and constructability reviews.
• Monitor progress, productivity and milestones; implement corrective actions.
• Lead civil supervisors; direct manpower and manage subcontractors.
• Coordinate with engineering and other disciplines to resolve site issues.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, HSE, quality and information security requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant diploma.
• 15 + years of experience in onshore oil & gas or petrochemical construction.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction methodologies and standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication and team‑management skills.
• Proven experience managing site teams and subcontractors.
