Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Sharjah is seeking an experienced Civil Site Engineer to oversee the execution of civil works on onshore oil & gas projects. The successful candidate will manage site activities, coordinate subcontractors, and enforce health, safety, and environmental standards. With a minimum of 10 years' experience in civil construction, strong communication skills and knowledge of industry standards are essential. This role requires a committed individual to support project schedules and productivity targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in onshore oil & gas / petrochemical projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction methods and standards (ACI, ASTM, BS/EN).
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise execution of earthworks, concrete, underground, and structural works.
• Enforce HSE standards and promote a strong safety culture at site.
• Implement approved method statements, ITPs, and quality requirements.
• Monitor daily progress, prepare look-ahead plans, and support schedule adherence.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and other disciplines to resolve site issues.
• Manage direct manpower and resources for self-performed works.
• Ensure compliance with Construction Execution Plan, LGMS, and company policies.
