Civil / Liaison Engineer – Authority Approvals

SMH Interiors is an ISO 9001:2015 certified interior fit-out company operating in the UAE since 2015. We are currently expanding our approvals team and are seeking a Civil / Liaison Engineer with strong UAE authority approval experience. This role is strictly focused on authority coordination, submissions, and approvals for interior fit-out projects across Dubai.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and submission of drawings to UAE authorities
• Handling authority approvals with Dubai Municipality (DM), Dubai Civil Defence (DCD), DDA, TECOM & Trakhees
• Coordinating with authorities for comments, clarifications, and final approvals
• Managing resubmissions and ensuring timely approval closure
• Ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, codes, and approval standards

Qualifications

• Mandatory Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Proven UAE authority approval experience is mandatory
• Strong hands-on knowledge of DM, DCD, DDA, TECOM & Trakhees Ect.. procedures
• Valid SOA Card
• G+1 License (mandatory)
• Ability to join immediately
