Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Technology or related field.
• Previous civil laboratory experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Knowledge of standard test methods and laboratory procedures.
• Ability to handle and maintain testing equipment effectively.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and lab safety gear usage.
• Willingness to undergo necessary training programs.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory tests according to standard methods and report results to the Technical Supervisor.
• Accurately document test results and ensure worksheets are filled during testing.
• Ensure laboratory equipment is maintained in optimal working condition.
• Use calibrated equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Adhere to safety protocols by wearing safety gear during tests.
• Maintain cleanliness in the laboratory and surrounding area.
• Participate in internal and external training programs to improve technical expertise.
• Perform intermediate checks on equipment as per testing standards.
• Conduct tests for internal quality control and proficiency samples and report findings to the Unit Head.
