Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer with expertise in the design of new piperacks and trestles for onshore oil and gas projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engineering solutions throughout the FEED, Detailed Engineering and Detailed Design phases ensuring structural integrity compliance with standards and seamless integration with multidisciplinary project requirements.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and review civil/structural designs for new piperacks and trestles in accordance with project specifications, industry codes and client standards.
  • Perform structural analysis and prepare detailed engineering calculations using industry-standard software.
  • Produce and review engineering deliverables including drawings, 3D models, design reports and material take-offs.
  • Coordinate closely with piping, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation teams to ensure design compatibility.
  • Provide technical support during design development, vendor selection and procurement processes.
  • Ensure designs meet applicable international codes and standards (AISC, API, ASCE, BS, ISO, etc.) as well as client‑specific requirements.
  • Participate in design reviews, model reviews, HAZOPs and constructability assessments.
  • Provide construction‑phase support for technical clarifications and resolution of design‑related issues.
  • Ensure adherence to project schedules, quality requirements and cost control measures.
Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Minimum 8-12 years of civil/structural engineering experience in onshore oil and gas projects.
  • Proven track record in the design of new piperacks and trestles.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS) and CAD tools.
  • Experience across FEED, Detailed Engineering and Detailed Design stages.
  • Familiarity with ADNOC standards is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
  • ADNOC project experience will be highly regarded.
