Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; 5+ years of experience required
• Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD or similar software packages
• Good knowledge of relevant regulations and safety standards
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and think creatively

Responsibilities

• Design civil engineering projects such as roads, bridges, pipelines, water supply systems and other infrastructure projects
• Prepare detailed designs and drawings using AutoCAD or other engineering software
• Supervise construction activities on site to ensure completion according to specs and budget
• Monitor project progress and report progress to management
• Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards throughout the project life cycle
• Provide technical advice and support during the design process
• Liaise with engineers, architects, contractors and suppliers involved in the project
