Job summary

Avanta Works is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our team in Zayed City, UAE. You will design, maintain and oversee construction of roads, bridges, dams and buildings, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

The ideal candidate has a civil engineering degree and relevant field experience, with strong communication and organizational skills. A valid driver's license is required, and immigration-friendly hiring is noted.

Qualifications

• The successful candidate should possess an in-depth knowledge of civil engineering principles, materials and methods of construction.
• They should have excellent problem-solving abilities and be up to date with all relevant safety regulations.
• They must have strong organizational skills to manage all stages of a project from start to finish as well as excellent communication skills to liaise with colleagues, clients and contractors.
• A valid driver's license is also required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and surveys for designing new civil engineering projects or improving existing ones.
• Devise plans for each project, identify potential risks and ensure safety regulations are adhered to.
• Assist in preparation of cost estimates, specifications and documentation and supervise project implementation on site if required.
