Job summary

ABC Engineering Company in Sharjah is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team. The role involves designing plans and overseeing construction of highways, bridges, pipelines and drainage systems, along with supervising project planning and site activities in the UAE.

We require a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred) and at least 3 years of relevant experience; familiarity with AutoCAD or SolidWorks is important.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in civil engineering projects; experience in Sharjah is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD or SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Design plans and oversee construction of civil engineering projects, such as highways, bridges, pipelines and drainage systems
• Supervise the planning and installation of civil engineering work
• Evaluate the performance of civil engineering projects to ensure that design specifications are met
• Monitor and inspect construction sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Develop cost estimates for materials, labor and equipment needed for projects
• Prepare reports on project progress, budgets and design changes
• Collaborate with other professionals such as architects, surveyors and environmental scientists to ensure the success of a project
• Resolve technical issues related to construction or design when needed
• Identify potential risks associated with a project before it begins.
