Job summary

Want More is seeking a Civil Engineer for Reef Al Fujairah City, UAE. You will design, develop, and manage civil engineering projects from concept through construction, coordinating with contractors and professionals to meet safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and at least two years of experience; recent graduates are welcome. Salary is 1200 AED per month and relocation is not offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Two years of civil engineering experience preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software.
• Knowledge of local building codes/regulations.
• Excellent problem solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Analyze surveys, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, and other topographical or geologic data to plan projects.
• Plan project layouts and prepare estimates by calculating material costs.
• Design projects including roads/bridges/highways/utilities using CAD software.
• Develop detailed plans and drawings for construction projects.
• Coordinate with architects, surveyors, engineers, inspectors, contractors and other professionals as needed.
• Monitor progress throughout all stages of construction from beginning to completion.
• Ensure safety protocols are being followed during construction process.
• Inspect materials used to ensure they comply with applicable codes or standards.
