Job summary

A well-established Emirati construction company is seeking a Draftsman - Civil (EHV, Substation/OHL/UGC) to prepare and maintain detailed civil and structural drawings for critical power infrastructure projects. The role demands a minimum of 5 years of drafting experience in relevant works, proficiency in AutoCAD, and strong knowledge of industry standards. Successful candidates will collaborate with various engineering teams to ensure compliance with project standards and utility requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years drafting experience in Substation civil works (400/220/132 kV).
• Experience in Overhead Line foundations and structural works up to 400 kV.
• Experience in Underground cable civil works up to 400 kV.

Responsibilities

• Preparing CAD civil and structural drawings for substation projects.
• Updating drawings based on engineering modifications and client feedback.
• Coordinating with engineers to prepare construction packages.

Skills

Accuracy and attention to detail

Good communication and teamwork skills

Fluency in English

Strong technical knowledge of IEC, DEWA, TRANSCO, and ADNOC standards

Education

Diploma in Civil Engineering or CAD Drafting
