Qualifications

• Proven experience leading technology organisations in finance or regulated industries.
• Experience overseeing software engineering, cybersecurity, TechOps, and enterprise systems.
• Hands-on leadership with ERP platforms, ideally Workday, including rollout and optimisation.
• Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, security frameworks, and enterprise architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop high-performing teams across software engineering, cybersecurity, TechOps, and enterprise systems.
• Own the technology strategy, architecture, and long-term roadmap aligned to investment management operations.
• Oversee rollout and optimisation of Workday ERP across the business.
• Drive engineering best practices, delivery standards, and platform reliability across internal systems.
• Strengthen cybersecurity posture, governance, and risk management per regulations.
• Build scalable infrastructure and cloud environments to support trading, analytics, and portfolio management systems.
• Partner with senior leadership to ensure technology supports investment, operations, compliance, and client-facing functions.
• Implement robust incident management, disaster recovery, and business continuity frameworks.
• Introduce modern tooling, automation, and DevOps practices to improve delivery speed and resilience.
• Manage vendor relationships, technology budgets, and strategic partnerships across the tech ecosystem.

The business is entering a period of significant change, modernising its technology stack, strengthening governance, and building a scalable foundation that supports rapid fund expansion and cross-border operations.

They are hiring a CTO to take full ownership of technology across software engineering, cybersecurity, TechOps, and enterprise systems. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on building a secure, reliable, and high-performance environment that supports investment teams, portfolio operations, and data-driven decision-making.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead and develop high-performing teams across software engineering, cybersecurity, TechOps, and enterprise systems
• Own the technology strategy, architecture, and long-term roadmap aligned to investment management operations
• Oversee the successful rollout, integration, and optimisation of Workday ERP across the business
• Drive engineering best practices, delivery standards, and platform reliability across all internal systems
• Strengthen cybersecurity posture, governance, and risk management in line with regional and global regulatory expectations
• Build scalable infrastructure and cloud environments to support trading, analytics, and portfolio management systems
• Partner with senior leadership to ensure technology supports investment, operations, compliance, and client-facing functions

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading technology organisations within investment management, financial services, or adjacent regulated industries
• Strong background overseeing software engineering, cybersecurity, TechOps, and enterprise systems
• Hands-on leadership experience with ERP platforms, ideally Workday, including rollout and post-implementation optimisation
• Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, security frameworks, and enterprise architecture
• Experience building scalable systems supporting trading, analytics, or portfolio management environments
• Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary technical teams through growth and transformation
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner closely with investment, operations, and compliance leaders
• Track record of delivering technology programmes in fast-paced, high-governance environments
• Ability to operate strategically while maintaining a practical, delivery-focused leadership style
