Job summary

PPOAR in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Chemist for our Bani Yas City facility. The successful candidate will perform chemical analysis and synthesis, ensure product quality, and support R&D of new processes.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Chemistry, at least 2 years of Chemist experience, and strong attention to detail. Independent work, adherence to safety, and accurate record keeping are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chemist.
• Knowledgeable in laboratory techniques and instrumentation.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical analysis, synthesis and other laboratory tests to ensure product quality and process efficiency
• Monitor laboratory operations and provide guidance on best practices
• Maintain accurate records of results generated from experiments
• Analyze data gathered from the experiments, interpret results, and generate reports on findings
• Provide feedback to colleagues on research findings or any areas that require improvement
• Ensure safety protocols are observed in the lab at all times
