Job summary

JobLeader in Ajman UAE is seeking an experienced Chemist to conduct laboratory tests and research to develop new products, improve existing ones, and analyze raw materials.

The chemist will monitor quality, perform experiments, ensure safety compliance, and work closely with R&D to implement projects from concept to completion in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Chemist or related role is required.
• Excellent knowledge of scientific principles and concepts related to chemistry research and development processes is necessary.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite; experience with statistical software (JMP/SPSS/Minitab) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment is important.

Responsibilities

• Analyze organic and inorganic compounds to determine chemical and physical properties, composition, structure, relationships, and reactions.

• Perform experiments under defined conditions to verify or disprove hypotheses.
• Analyze data from tests and experiments to discover ways to improve existing products or create new ones.
• Develop procedures for the analysis of raw materials, intermediates, final products, gases, liquids, solids, and other components.
• Maintain laboratory equipment; order and maintain supplies; document results; write reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations in the laboratory environment.
• Work closely with other departments (R&D) to ensure the successful implementation of projects from conception to completion.

Salary: 1100 AED per month
