Job summary

PPOAR in Dubai is seeking a Chemical Engineer with at least two years of experience to join our team. The role focuses on developing, designing and deploying solutions for chemical engineering projects.

The successful candidate will work with maintenance, QA and production to ensure project success, analyze data and troubleshoot process issues, while upholding safety regulations across the project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Chemical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of experience as a Chemical Engineer.
• Knowledge of process engineering principles such as mass balances, energy balances, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics.
• Proven ability to analyze complex data sets accurately and efficiently.
• Experience troubleshooting process issues using root cause analysis techniques is highly desired.
• Good problem-solving skills with the ability to think outside the box.

Responsibilities

• Developing novel processes for chemical components or products.
• Designing, constructing, and testing prototypes of new products.
• Working with maintenance, quality assurance and production to ensure project success.
• Investigating process problems, identifying root causes, and suggesting corrective actions.
• Developing test plans, analyzing results, and recommending changes to improve efficiency and safety.
• Ensuring safety regulations are adhered to by all personnel involved in the project.
• Participating in meetings with internal stakeholders and external vendors to discuss design specifications and timelines.
