Job summary

Flyper in Dubai is seeking a skilled Chemical Engineer to join our team. The role covers research, development, planning, design, and operation of chemical processes in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate should have strong knowledge of chemical engineering principles and practices, with experience in design and operation of chemical processes. Prior Middle East experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university/college.
• Experience in chemical engineering with strong knowledge of principles and practices.
• Proven track record in problem-solving and troubleshooting chemical engineering projects.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Developing new processes or improving existing ones for efficient production of chemicals.
• Designing process equipment such as pipes, tanks, pumps and distillation columns.
• Supervising the manufacturing process and ensuring quality assurance standards are met.
• Monitoring production operations to ensure safety practices are followed at all times.
• Troubleshooting problems related to the production process and resolving technical issues quickly and effectively.
• Maintaining records of materials, products, tests, procedures etc., for reporting purposes.
• Carrying out cost analysis to ensure that projects remain cost effective.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the research, development, planning, design and operation of chemical processes.
