Responsibilities

• Developing menus and recipes that reflect the restaurant’s style and cuisine
• Overseeing the preparation, presentation, and cooking of food
• Ensuring that food safety regulations are followed
• Managing inventory and ordering supplies
• Managing staff in the kitchen, including hiring, training, scheduling, and discipline
• Ensuring that all kitchen equipment is properly maintained
• Working with management to adhere to budgets
• Troubleshooting any issues that may arise in the kitchen
