Job summary

Kitopi is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie – Burger to join our culinary team in a fast-paced kitchen. The ideal candidate will craft high-quality burgers, manage premium ingredients, and maintain consistency in taste and presentation. Immediate joiners preferred, with opportunity to work under senior chefs in a dynamic, international kitchen.

You will lead and support commis chefs, handle mise-en-place, and ensure HACCP compliance while contributing to stock control and smooth workflow.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CDP in burger concepts or casual dining kitchens.
• Strong knowledge of burger preparation, grilling techniques, and sauce production.
• Ability to handle high-volume production while maintaining quality.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Immediate joiners preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of burgers (smash, grilled, specialty) to brand standards.
• Ensure consistency in seasoning, temperature, and presentation.
• Supervise and support commis chefs during daily operations.
• Handle mise-en-place, patty preparation, toppings, sauces, and assembly.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and HACCP compliance.
• Assist with stock control, ordering, and ingredient rotation.
• Work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to ensure smooth kitchen workflow.
