Job summary

The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence or a related computing discipline, demonstrated leadership, and a strong record in teaching and scholarly productivity.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in AI or related computing field from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic and administrative leadership for the Department of Computer Science and Engineering.
• Lead ABET accreditation processes and ensure compliance with CAA standards.
• Support assessment, learning-outcomes evaluation and data-driven decisions.
• Teach undergraduate courses aligned with departmental needs.
• Lead faculty development, mentoring and performance evaluation.
• Establish and sustain a national or international research agenda.
• Encourage and support external research funding acquisition.
• Represent the department at school and university levels and on committees.
• Advise and mentor students and promote outreach with industry.
