Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid forklift operator certification.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience operating forklifts in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in manufacturing, retail, or logistics preferred.
• Strong technical skills related to forklift operation and basic maintenance.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to move materials according to safety protocols.
• Inspect forklifts and report mechanical issues for timely repairs.
• Organize warehouse layout with staff to optimize workflow.
• Track inventory levels during loading/unloading and update systems.
• Prepare shipping and receiving documentation.
• Assist in training new operators on safety and protocols.
• Use handheld devices or WMS for inventory counts and location tracking.
• Maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment.
• Monitor load capacities and weight distribution.
• Participate in safety meetings and trainings to stay updated.
