Job summary

AG Metal Industries is seeking a forklift operator to handle loading, unloading, and transport of materials at Ras Al Khaimah. You will perform pre-shift inspections, ensure loads are stable, and follow safety regulations to prevent damage and incidents.

The role requires a UAE forklift driving license, ability to work independently, and readiness to operate in production environments. Local responsibilities include maintaining logs and coordinating with supervisors.

Qualifications

• Valid UAE forklift driving license or certification.

• Ability to read labels, delivery documents, and inventory records.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely in accordance with company policies and safety regulations.
• Load and unload materials from trucks, containers, and storage locations.
• Transport raw materials, finished goods, and pallets to designated areas.
• Stack and arrange materials to maximize storage space and prevent damage.
• Verify material quantities and product labels before moving goods.
• Assist with receiving and dispatch activities.
• Perform daily pre-operation inspections of the forklift (brakes, tires, forks, lights, horn, battery/fuel, hydraulics, etc.).
• Follow warehouse traffic rules, speed limits, and designated routes.
• Ensure materials are handled carefully to avoid product damage.
• Support inventory counts and stock movement as required.
• Maintain cleanliness of the forklift and work area.
• Use PPE at all times.
• Follow FIFO/FEFO procedures where applicable.
• Coordinate with warehouse supervisors and other departments for efficient material movement.
• Complete forklift operation logs and material movement records accurately.
• Strategic: Load/transport materials to production workstations; move stock to pallets; prevent damage.
