The College of Education at the American University in the Emirates invites Master's holder applicants for faculty teaching in one or more of the below Specializations:

Teaching Load:
- 6 credit hours per semester
Responsible to provide students with professional expertise in teaching, assessing student work, academic advising, participating in administrative and committee activities, professional service, and community service.
The candidate must have either higher Education or Teaching experience in an accredited university in the United States of America.
a. Present research and practice driven teaching and
b. adapt to latest pedagogical techniques that stimulate students to inquiry and to encompass a broad knowledge, attaining the skills and competencies through engaging delivery techniques and development of appropriate assessments
Effectively manage the instructional processes
a. Evaluating students’ performance and grading
b. Provide clear assessment criteria that reflects course content and its learning outcomes
c. Set expectations to students and avoid cognitive biasness
Contribute to regular curriculum reviewing and improving the existing curriculum for quality and effectiveness
a. Currency and relevancy of the theories and practice in the field
b. Intellectual rigor appropriate to the level of the degree program
a. Increasingly complex presentation of theories, principles, and practice
b. Increasingly complex levels of analysis and development of competencies
c. Application of theories and principles.
