We have an immediate opening for a Cashier to join our team in Ajman. This position is specifically for Indian nationals who are looking for a contract job opportunity.

As a Cashier you will be responsible for handling cash transactions, processing payments, and providing excellent customer service. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all transactions and managing the cash register. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly and efficient service at the checkout counter
• Process payments by cash, credit/debit cards, and other forms of payment accurately and efficiently
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions and balance the cash register at the end of each shift
• Ensure that the checkout area is clean and well-maintained
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations of the store

Requirements

• Must be an Indian national currently residing in Ajman
• Proven experience as a Cashier or in a similar role
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude
• Strong communication skills in English; Arabic language skills preferred but not required
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Detail-oriented with strong math skills
