Job summary

JobCenter in Sharjah, UAE is seeking an experienced Cashier to join our team. You will handle payments, issue receipts and maintain accurate cash drawers while delivering friendly service to customers.

Qualifications

We are looking for an experienced Cashier to join our team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, excellent math and organizational abilities, and the willingness to learn new technology.

Responsibilities

• Receive payments by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers or automatic debits
• Issue receipts, refunds, credits and change due to customers
• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change
• Greet customers entering establishments
• Keep track of all transactions as well as maintain clean and orderly checkout areas
• Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements
• Answer customers’ questions and provide information on procedures or policies
• Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes and standard operating procedures.

Requirements
