Job summary

JobCenter is seeking a Cashier for our Abu Dhabi location. The role involves handling cash and non-cash payments, assisting customers, and maintaining the checkout area. The candidate will ensure accurate transactions and friendly service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include processing payments, providing receipts, and keeping the workstation tidy. Flexibility in hours and strong communication skills are required to succeed in this position.

Qualifications

• Previous cashier experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented with accurate cash handling.
• Flexible hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive payments from customers in cash, check, or credit card form; record amounts received; provide change and receipt to customers.
• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change available.
• Greet customers; answer questions or provide information about products or services being offered.
• Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change; count money; process checks or credit cards using electronic scanners.
• Assist with other duties as required such as stocking shelves, cleaning counters and answering phones.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstation and checkout area.
