Job summary

Avanta Works in Dubai is seeking a Cashier to manage cash transactions and provide friendly customer service. The role requires basic computer skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of cash handling experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Knowledge of basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers courteously as they enter the store.
• Process customer payments accurately and efficiently.
• Count money in cash drawer at beginning of shift to ensure accuracy and sufficient change.
• Inform customers on current promotions and discounts.
• Answer customers’ questions regarding products offered.
• Handle returns of merchandise courteously and professionally.
• Balance cash drawer at end of shift by counting deposits and verifying against sales.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations in the store.
