Job summary

Requirements include at least 1 year of cashier experience, strong communication, accuracy with cash and card payments, and basic computer skills. Immigrant candidates with relevant experience are welcome.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of cashier experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle cash and other payment methods accurately.
• Knowledge of basic computer operations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers when entering or leaving the store
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Ensure pricing is correct on all items sold
• Process payments accurately by accepting cash, credit/debit cards, checks, or other payment methods
• Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets
• Count money in the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure that amounts are correct
• Answer customers' questions about products and services in a friendly manner
• Help customers with product selection when necessary
• Receive and process all returns, exchanges, and requests for adjustments
• Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner
