We are looking for an energetic "Cashier" to work with a well known company "multi-activity economic group in UAE".
Locations: Sharjah
Nationalities: Indian, Sri Lankan, or Filipino
Duties & Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Greet customers politely at the counter
- Take and process customer orders accurately
- Answer basic questions about menu items, promotions, and combos
- Ensure a positive and friendly interaction with all customers
Payment Handling
- Operate cash register, POS system, or card payment devices
- Handle cash, credit/debit card, and digital wallet transactions
- Issue receipts, return correct change, and reconcile cash at the end of shifts
- Follow company cash handling and financial procedures
Order Management
- Confirm orders and relay them to the kitchen or production area
- Pack or prepare orders for takeaway or delivery as needed
- Ensure accuracy of orders and customer satisfaction
Operational & Safety Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of the counter and POS area
- Follow hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards
- Restock items such as napkins, straws, condiments, and bags
- Report any discrepancies, malfunctions, or customer complaints

Requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Prior experience as a cashier, in retail, or QSR is an advantage
- Basic math skills for handling money and transactions
- Good communication skills (English; Arabic is a plus)
- Customer-focused and friendly attitude
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Basic computer skills (POS systems, tablets)
- Honest, responsible, and reliable
