Job Description
Role Purpose

The Cashier will be responsible for handling all guest transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor. This role is based in Ras Al Khaimah and is critical in ensuring a seamless guest experience from ordering to payment.

Key Responsibilities
Guest Service & Transactions
  • Handle guest payments accurately via cash, card, or digital payment systems.
  • Issue receipts, process refunds, and maintain proper billing records.
  • Answer guest queries related to bills and charges courteously and professionally.
  • Ensure smooth coordination with the service team for split bills, group payments, or special requests.
Operational Duties
  • Maintain the cashier station, cash register, and payment devices in an organized manner.
  • Perform opening and closing cash procedures accurately.
  • Track daily transactions and report discrepancies to the management.
  • Assist with daily financial reconciliations and end‑of‑day reports.
Standards & Compliance
  • Adhere to RIKAS Group’s cash handling policies and procedures.
  • Maintain high levels of integrity, accuracy, and accountability.
  • Uphold professional grooming, appearance, and behavior standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, including hygiene and safety standards.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Cashier or in a similar role in the hospitality or retail sector preferred.
  • Strong numerical and cash‑handling skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Professional appearance, positive attitude, and high integrity.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Must be available to join immediately in Ras Al Khaimah.
