Job description

We are looking to hire a Cashier with the following skills & qualifications:

The Cashier handles all point-of-sale transactions at ticket counters or retail areas, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction while following financial and operational protocols.

Responsibilities:
  1. Daily Operations
  2. Execute routine duties as per departmental SOPs.
  3. Monitor area cleanliness, guest service, and queue flow.
  4. Report incidents and escalate issues when necessary.
  1. Team Support & Coordination
  2. Work collaboratively with peers and supervisors.
  3. Support new staff orientation and daily task assignments.
  4. Provide shift handover details accurately.
  1. Customer Service
  2. Assist guests with directions, services, or concerns.
  3. Maintain a friendly and welcoming attitude.
  4. Handle complaints with professionalism and escalate as needed.
  1. Health, Safety, and Hygiene
  2. Follow all safety and hygiene standards.
  3. Ensure guest zones are safe and hazard-free.
  4. Comply with PPE requirements and cleanliness protocols.
Requirements:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant training is a plus.

Skills:

  • Strong customer service and communication abilities.
  • Teamwork and time management.
  • Basic understanding of safety protocols.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Experience:

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in hospitality operations or customer service.
  • Hands-on experience in dealing with guests, handling equipment, or operating a point-of-sale system (as applicable).
  • Previous cashier or customer service experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
