Job summary

Work standard in Dubai's Jabal-Ali is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team. You will cut, shape and install wood and other materials, read blueprints, and use saws, chisels and drills to build fixtures and frames.

We value independence and teamwork, safety awareness, and the ability to follow instructions. Foreign applicants are welcome. Salary is 900 per month, on-site work with occasional travel to project sites as needed.

We are looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our team in Jabal-Ali. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of carpentry and will be able to work with a variety of tools and materials, including wood, metal, and other materials. We expect the candidate to have previous experience in this field, as well as a good eye for detail and excellent problem-solving skills.

Main duties

• constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood or other materials
• reading blueprints or drawings to determine specifications
• measuring and marking cutting lines on materials
• using various hand tools such as saws, chisels, planes, drills
• shaping parts such as rafters, joists, trusses
• assembling components with nails or screws
• installing window frames, doorframes, stairs etc.

The successful candidate must be able to work independently and in teams. They must be able to take instructions from higher-level staff correctly and be able to follow safety instructions when handling tools and materials. We are also ready to consider a foreigner for this position.

The salary package is 900 per month.
