Job summary

Avanta Works in Zayed City, UAE, is seeking a full-time Carpenter to cut, shape, install wood and related materials, and read blueprints for accurate cuts. You will measure, saw, drill, and construct frames and fixtures, with on-site measurements and visits to ensure precision.

The ideal candidate has a valid driver’s license, is physically fit, and demonstrates strong problem solving, communication, and teamwork, with a focus on safety and code compliance.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.
• Demonstrate excellent problem solving skills.
• Have strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Cut, shape, and install wood and materials related to carpentry.
• Measure, sawing, drilling and constructing frames, structures and fixtures of wood or other materials.
• Read blueprints and sketches accurately in order to cut the right pieces in the right places.
• Carry out job-site visits to take measurements.
