Job summary

Al Saqer Property Management, the real estate arm of United Al Saqer Group L.L.C., is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our facilities team in Abu Dhabi. You will layout, install, repair, finish, and maintain structures and fixtures, working with architects and trades to meet project specs.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of carpentry experience in facilities or property maintenance, plus vocational certification in carpentry and the ability to lift heavy materials and perform manual tasks.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of carpentry experience in a facilities or property maintenance setting
• Vocational certification or apprenticeship in carpentry
• Physically fit with the ability to perform manual tasks and lift heavy materials

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or design plans
• Measure, cut, and shape wood, metal, or other materials. Use hand and power tools, such as saws, drills, and sanders, to create or modify structures
• Assemble and install framework, cabinets, shelves, doors, and other wooden or metal components
• Install or repair building fixtures, such as windows, stairs, or molding
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other tradespeople to ensure project specifications are met
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on site, promoting a safe working environment for all team members
• Keep accurate records of work performed and time spent on each project
