Job summary

A prominent healthcare recruitment firm is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technician to join a leading healthcare network in Abu Dhabi. The role involves performing diagnostic cardiovascular procedures and operating specialized equipment. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Cardiovascular Technology, at least 2 years of relevant experience, and strong patient care skills. We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technician to join our client in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. This role is based within one of the UAE’s largest government‑affiliated healthcare networks, renowned for delivering world‑class medical services and operating state‑of‑the‑art facilities across the Emirate. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic cardiovascular procedures, operating specialized equipment, and assisting physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions. Candidates with proven experience handling PEDIATRIC patients will be highly preferred. This position requires strong technical expertise, excellent patient care skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of medical practice.

Responsibilities
  • Perform non‑invasive and/or invasive cardiovascular diagnostic procedures as per physician’s orders, including procedures for pediatric patients.
  • Operate and maintain specialized cardiovascular equipment, ensuring accurate test results.
  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining processes, obtaining medical history, and positioning them appropriately.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during procedures, responding promptly to any complications.
  • Assist physicians during examinations and procedures when required.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records and test reports.
  • Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality assurance protocols at all times.
  • Keep up to date with advancements in cardiovascular technology and best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cardiovascular Technology or equivalent.
  • Valid healthcare professional license/registration in the UAE (or eligibility to obtain one).
  • Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in a hospital or clinical setting, including pediatric cases.
  • Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic procedures.
  • Proficiency in operating cardiovascular diagnostic equipment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient‑centered approach.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
